if we go pirates im def gonnna go living construct or water breather, maze alsosoudns quite good, unfortunately i couldnt find anything like invoker so i wont be rolling that, im tempted to roll  warlock cause those can be kinda cool

oh and i just realised i can get my hands on pdf copies of all the 5e books in case you guys wanted to read that? cause the warlocks in 5e are REALLY REALLY fun xD

Okay, so my ideas are getting some positive response!
Should prolly let BB weigh in before a final decision is made . . .
Also, might want some discussion as to how the group forms: if we're pirates, how do we end up on the same crew? Labyrinth could be as simple as "none of us have any idea how we got there, we just need to figure out how to get out/figure out what is going on."

I would love to have access to the 5e stuff! Gimme!

I am absolutely okay with pirates/anything else we decide to go with. Pirates are fantastic. (Space pirates are even more fantastic but in another category entirely and with a decided lack of sea monsters.)

Well, there are space squid in Zap! and spaceship-eating critters called Dukongs in Farscape, but I vote for sticking to normal fantasy to start with.
(I don't have stats for a Dukong . . . )
